Quincy Point Music Academy

Dana MaelznerSu Hsien Hsu, a native of Taiwan, holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from National Taiwan Normal University as well as a Master of Music degree and Performance Diploma from the Boston Conservatory.

As an active musician, Ms. Hsu has performed with many professional orchestras and ensembles throughout the United States and Asia. She also dedicates herself to music education when she is not on stage.

Ms. Hsu belongs to the first Taiwanese cello quartet, Cello4. In 2006, they received the Golden Melody Award for Best Performance with a live recording of their debut concert at the National Recital Hall in Taiwan. Cello4 completed their second album “Two Years” in the summer of 2008.

Ms. Hsu is a recipient of the Virtu Foundation Instrument Scholarship. She plays a French cello made by Roger Lanne.
