The Quincy Point Music Academy thanks all of you for your continued support. QPMA would like to extend our thanks for your generous donations to help our school open the doors to the myriad of students wishing to study music. It is our pleasure to announce the establishment of a new scholarship being offered this semester, The Mabel D. Poulos award, which was generously donated by Robert and Joyce Romeri. With this new scholarship award, we hope to offer financial assistance to new students who are now registering. We hope to give students and their families an opportunity to study music without the worry of financial strains.

solving, goal setting, self-expression,
discipline, physical coordination,
memory skills, self-confidence,
concentration, dexterity, and poise.
Music education facilitates success in
society, school, developing intelligence,
and in life.
Making music helps to relieve stress,
anxiety, and even lowers blood pressure. Students of music learn craftsmanship as
they study how details are put together
and what constitutes good, as opposed to
mediocre, work. These standards demand
a new level of excellence and require
students to stretch their inner resources.
Music performance teaches young
people to conquer fear and to take risks. Risk-taking is essential if a child is to
fully develop his or her potential.
Everyone should have music in his or her life!
